Cool Just found a new trick--quick night backlight

If you're like me, and you use your 755p a lot, you're frequently changing the brightness. In the office, you want it fairly bright. At night, in the dark, you want it dim. Yes, I pretty much use my Treo from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep.

Accidentally, I hit option, then menu, and the screen got dim. Do it again, screen goes back to brightness slider setting. So this instantly takes you to a nighttime brightness level.

Enjoy!

Jason

Jason,
Good find on changing screen brightness.

I use Power Hero to set up daily schedules for screen brightness, the keyboard, and to turn bluetooth on and off based upon my commute schedule. This gives me great battery hold-up times and well worth the cost.

Jason,

Good find. Just for kicks I looked in the 755p User Guide and on page 47 it shows the use of the Options/Menu button.

How 'bout that? So I guess I'm not as cool as I thought I was. Seriously, I also discovered that there's a "tip" on this in the power section of the preferences.

So, not such a discovery after all.
