![]() | opera mini stability tips my opera mini was crashing quite a bit and I was about punt my treo (in its protective case) into a wall when I decided to reinstall the palm jvm. I reinstalled it with a full install (with files out of the jsr folders as well) and now it is rock solid. I have had 0 resets / crashes on opera and i've been using it a lot over the past two weeks. I wouldn't have figured that opera mini wanted more integration in to the palm OS... edit: when I get to my computer, I will put up the exact list of files that I installed... and I'm using both normal opera mini 4 and opera mini 4.1 beta (which is much better that the normal version) |

![]() | For anyone keeping score and not already aware, version 4.1 has a major issue for Palm OS devices. It won't load images--you just get placeholders. This is aggravating enough that I decided to delete opera mini and go back to using Blazer. Blazer is better anyway for "mobile" formatted web pages. But I'm disappointed in opera mini. |

![]() | According to the opera mini forum, they say it has something to do with the instability in the beta which is caused by a memory usage problem. The developers are blaming the JVM. But Palm users are a bit miffed. Check out this thread: palm: images not loading in 4.1 final - Opera Mini - Opera Community Here's a quote from the developers: Quote:

![]() | I probably should post this somewhere else too, but a new version of OM 4.1 for Palm has been released. Opera Mini Update for Palm OS Not loading pictures problem is almost entirely fixed. |
