Ringer Sound for Incoming Calls to Low - Treo Forum

My 755p is set at 7 for ringer sound when in my pocket or purse not loud enough miss calls. Anyone else have this situation?

I have this same problem. I don't know how to fix it though, it would be nice to find out how. What I did was to pick a louder ring tone and then sometimes I can hear it now.

I am new so I'm sorry but I'm not much help.

First, make sure you don't have your phone's volume switch turned off (switch on top of phone). As Shellster suggested, you may also want to play with both the volume and different ringtones to see if you can hear them okay. Palm phones have a history of not being very loud, however this is not typically the case with the 755p. Nevertheless, if you cannot find a good solution to your problem, then download a trial of VolumeCare from GoTreoSoftware.com and see if that helps. It was developed for the problem mentioned above. The other thing to remember is that the speaker for the 755p is on the back of the device, so you might want to ensure that the back is facing a direction that you are most likely to hear it.

I second the recommendation for VolumeCare, I use VC Pro for this very reason and am VERy happy with it.
