Treolauncher - Treo Forum

I cant keep Treolauncher to stay as my default launcher... i went into preferences and checked-off the "Set as default launcher" but every time i click on the "Phone" button on the phone it goes back to the Original Launcher. so everytime, i have to go back in the SD card and re-launch it once again. is it because i saved the treolauncher on my sd card? should i have saved it to the device instead? i have the same problem with the Iphone imitator which is also installed on my sd card. hope you guys can help =)

It may indeed be because you placed it on your SD card. You may also not have noticed that some launchers will toggle between the stock launcher and the third party launcher with presses of the Home key. I'm not sure if this is true for TreoLauncher or not.

move it to main memory and see if that cures the problem.

I believe the problem is that you're running it from the card. I have it in main memory and don't have this problem.

I too run it from memory without any problems. My question ... is there a manual anywhere for this launcher? My particular problem is with the wallpaper. After trying different wallpapers I decided I liked the plain blue background best ... but cannot get it back.

Unfortunately there is no "formal" manual. The thread at TreoCentral serves as Horace's manual. What exactly is the problem you're having? Perhaps I can help and save you some time...though reading through that entire thread is tremendously helpful.
