![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just to clarify, you've been able to Hotsync successfully before, but since you changed SD cards you are no longer able to? Have you changed anything else on your Treo?

![]() | I've gotten this before. Sometimes the cables, while seemingly attached securely, will sometimes not be. If you try hotsyncing the device while pressing the cable into your device with your hand you'll find that it will sync w/o incident..at least it does for me. I ended up buying new hotsync cables and all is fine. I had to do the same thing with my TX. If you have your cable attached to your cradle, then try unattaching and pressing them in tightly and retrying. |

![]() | Like OHD said, make sure your connection are good. I had this prob with my old 700P. Found out it was the connection within the 700P itself. You may try another cable. Do you get the same message when you try to sync by Blue Tooth? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | One issue to check and I know cause that would happen to my daughter's Centro. Does it get hung up when trying to sync your Media, i.e. pics and vids? My daughter thinks her Centro is a photo/vid journalist tool and makes good use of it. I had to set up her media to do nothing on her settings. I just transfer her pics and vids via the drop and drag option when using a card reader/card reader program. That may not be your issue. Watch the screen and see where the hotsync gets hung up. You could have a corrupt file hanging the sync function. |

![]() ![]() | WoW guys, there sure are a lot of variables. Here's one more; I found that the weight of the cables themselves was pulling out the connector. I started putting the treo on the floor so the cable wouldn't pull. Hasn't messed-up since. |

I do not sync Media, I have it unchecked on my sync preferences, so I am not sure. You could try NOT syncing media to see if that eliminates the Prob. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Let's try this a step at a time. First, go into the Hotsync icon > Settings > Applications, and then uncheck the box for Media. Run Hotsync. If it runs all the way through, then go back into Hotsync and recheck Media and run again. Sometimes this is enough to clean it up. If that doesn't work, you could try to diagnose the media DBs for any corrupt data that may be causing problems by using DBFixit. Once you download the app to your device and open it up, you'll have to set it to "Other" nd then look for all media DBs. If you are unsure, then just do each DB listed one at a time. If you find any corruptions, you'll have to purchase the app, to actually repair them. A final solution is to just leave the media set to do nothing during hotsyncs and get an app like Card Reader or Softick Card Export and use them to sync media to your card. Post back and let us know how any of this works. Stu |
