| A Few Questions.... ![]() | Goodbye Centro, Hello 755p I bought a Palm Centro from Sprint in December and loved it for about 3 1/2 months... until I actually saw someone with a 755p. I bought the 755 and could not be happier. As far as speed, software compatibility, etc., I have not really noticed any difference. The selling point for the 755p for me was the feel of it. The Centro felt flimsy and very delicate, whereas the 755 feels like it can take a good tumble down a flight of stairs with little damage. Also, I like the larger keyboard.... Anybody else tried the Centro?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a 755p and my daughter had a Centro, so I got to play around with both. They both have approximately the same functionality. The battery is a little weaker in the Centro, but the third party apps loaded on the Centro are better. I enjoy my phone, but if I had it to do over again, I would buy the Centro, purely based on price alone. |

![]() | Well, I just made the transition from a 650 to a Centro and quite frankly I love the new form factor. I am the type of user who woud rather fish for his phone in a pocket than have it strapped a la commando to his waist, so the smaller the better. I find the Centro keyboard perfectly usable, and the screen has lost none of the sharpness of the larger sized Treo. To me the ideal mobile device is a stylish phone on which I can discreetly bring up a Russian dictionary or a flight schedule when I need it, not a multimedia quasi-laptop on which I can also make phone calls. For my lifestyle the Centro is far better, and I am certain that I am not alone. |

![]() | I went from a 700p to a non-Palm device (Mogul, hated it) to Centro. I've used for about a month a 755p. I love the Centro. I can type fast, and I love the form factore. It is also a totally stable device. Bluetooth also stays connected without fail for me. Palm did a great job with this device.

![]() | I love my Centro. It's my first PDA. It's my first Palm. It's my first smartphone. ![]() I kept hearing the keyboard was a factor but I have small hands so the close keys are no problem for me. A friend of mine has a problem w/ it but he's not a big text messager anyway. I doubt if he uses anything other than the contacts. ![]() I'm loving it. I'm just trying to decide what app I cannot live w/o next so I can download it. ![]() Optimus Centro out.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I showed my wife the Centro yesterday, since she liked the Palm OS but hated the form factor of the 650. She prefered the look of the 755p at the Sprint kiosk we went by. I was very surprised |
