Built-in GPS?

What's up Tnauts?I was just reading some reviews on the 755p.And I keep seeing everyone say that it has built-in GPS.I looked at all the different options and settings on my Treo. And I can't find anything that has to do with GPS.Maybe I just didn't see it,but I looked everywhere.I heard the only way to use the GPS was to buy an external GPS locator(from Telenav for example). If there's a way use an internal GPS locator that's built-in,plaese let me know.lol.My roommate has a BB 8800(Tmobile) and his GPS is awesome(Telenav).Yeah, you should hear the arguements we have about who's smartphone is better.lol.EPIC!But if there's a way to use internal GPS that would ROCK!So if you know, please let me know.T.I.A.(thanks in advance)it will be quicker than spelling it out.lol

It doesn't have a true GPS receiver no, it has the normal E911 location service which is required by US law. This can be used with Sprint's TelNav GPS Navigator software, there is a monthly charge I believe for using the service plus it uses your data connection so there may be charges there as well depending on what plan you've got. Personally I think TomTom Navigator with a Bluetooth GPS receiver is a better solution

Ah ok

Good to know.thanks for the info and the link to Telenav. Now to decide if I really want GPS.lol.So you say that the TomTom Nav. system is better? But you have to use an external reciever, right?Wouldn't it suck to have to carry that around? But I guess that you only really use GPS in your vehicle. So I guess you could just leave it in there.Hmm?That actually doesn't sound bad at all.Especially if it works better.Thank you Taz.

Let me check how Pocket IE deals with it.

Update: You're right the mobile version of the site doesn't allow for thanking
