755p Photo CallerID Not Working - Treo Forum

I have followed the instructions on how to set up photo caller id. I have photos for a few contacts but when they call, the photo does not appear, only the name and phone number.

Thoughts?

Is this a part of the Phone or did you purchase the app? If its a 3rd party contact the developer and see what fixes they have for you.

Where are your photos stored? In the SD card? Internal Memory? I use outlook and organize my contacts (phone, address, photo, etc) there. When I hotsync, everything transfer's over to the phone. This way, you don't have to use up memory from the SD card.

Try reflashing the firmware almost any problem can be solved by reflashing the frimware.

The pictures are stored in "pics and videos" and come from iphoto from a mac. I'll try a soft reset, but I don't think I'm doing anything out of the norm.

maybe the pic is too big to be displayed? try using a pic from the treos camera, use that for contact "home", call your phone from your landline and see if it works.

are u using 3rd party software for the caller id pic?

do you sync your contacts to your mac with a particular program? (im not familar with macs) if you do, is there a way to add the picture to the contact in the desktop program and when you sync it, it should transfer to the phone.

before reflashing id do a soft reset, hard reset.

Always try a soft reset and a hard reset before flashing firmware.

Nope, no luck on the 650 sale as of yet. One lady was interested and then decided she'd rather get a 680...
