Treo 755 Blazer password problem

Hi everyone,

New to Treonauts, although I've had a 650 for years, and just upgraded to a 755. Love it, but am having a problem entering a password for a website. There is a field for username, which I can put in the proper user name. There is a field for password which says "unassigned". I then enter the proper password (characters turn to asteriks as I enter the next character), and when done and tab out of that field it says "assigned". Then when I hit the "go" (login) button, the password field changes back to "unassigned" and then appears to send the data. I get an invalid password error on the web site.

The web site in question is DBSTalk.Com I have not tried any other web sites yet, but did have a recurring problem getting a slingbox password to work. It finally did start working, but I have no idea why as no changes were made anyplace between it not working and it working.

Thanks for any information or suggestions anyone can offer.

My passwords are longer than the box so a little window pops up and then I tap "ok". Have you tried tapping the "go" or "login" instead of tabbing over? Tabbing should work but may as well try tapping.

This happens to me when accessing website that don't allow mobile access, i.e. my bank, my statement from work, and my 401k.

I have to use the laptop to access these websites and won't allow access from the phone. Try your web e-mail see if that works. Also, try accessing this forum from your phone, and see if that works.

Thanks for the suggestions. The site does have a mobile mode, that doesn't seem to matter. I have not tried many other sites yet, but will. Been kind of busy.
