![]() | phone app for default screen Done a quick search on this forum, but didn't find anything about this one. Is there anyway to make the 'phone app' screen the default for palm os instead of the 'home' screen? For example. When I'm done with my preferences and I choose 'done' it takes me back to the home screen. I'd like it (and any done buttons) to take me back to the phone app screen instead. As to why: I'm more phone-centric than palm-centric. I assigned everything that I would use in my palm to the favorite pages in the phone app. This is personal preference, but I find it easier to get around. Any thoughts? Rob. |

While I think you can only default the home page to either wallpaper or dial pad, you CAN make more rows of your favorites pages (up to six, I think) show up on the 'home' screen so that essentially the whole screen is your favorites. Push the Menu button (bottom right), then "Options", "Phone Display Options". Where it says Show Favorites Buttons, change the number of rows to show then click "OK". | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think I understand what you mean, and unfortunatly no. Unless you are in "Phone Preferences" in particular, the Preferences menu is for the device as a whole, and not just the phone. The device is a PDA first, with phone hardware and software added to it. Its a good package, but still it is what it is. If you want to start at the phone screen every time, press the phone hard key to "wake it up". The phone, calendar, email, and home keys will take you directly to the things they describe, while the red power key will take you to your last used screen. This will also work from any application.
