Handsfree car kit

Anybody know of some good handsfree car kits that will work for the 755?
I want something I can dock my phone in when I get in the truck, it charges my phone, and I dont have to use a headset. I also really like the idea of it playing through the car stereo speakers.

the best I seem to have found is the seidio from the ads on this site. But I dont like its mounting options. I dont want it on the windsheild, and down here in Texas we need all the air conditioner vents we can get. It also looks like its going to have exposed wires for power & mic.

Paper Handsfree Car Kit

Hi Bigred,

Did you ever buy a car kit? I'm looking for one now since bluetooth is not really cutting it for me. I only know of the Seidio units and the possibility of Palm coming out with one for the 755p. What has been your experience?

Can anyone else comment on this subject?

Thanks,
Geosnk

I tried the Seido unit, the problem was, it worked through the headset plug on the treo, and those things are notorious for not working correctly.

when it would work, it really wasnt loud enough for me either.

I ended up with a new Pioneer head unit that has a bluetooth reciever and handsfree phone function.
that is the only way to go

I have a SP5050 BT handsfree speakerphone with good noise cancellation for sale in the marketplace. Its never been opened. Look for the post in the Marketplace or just PM me for more information. Its a good deal.
