Treo 750 Keys P O and 5 Way Navigator Problems - Treo Forum

Hi guys, new to this so bear with any breaches of etiquette. My Treo 750 has intermittent inoperative keys: p o and the 5-way navigator. I can hold any of these down and press the shift key (the one left of spacebar) and they will work while I'm holding it down. Any key pressed simultaneously will make these work, but adds that keys character also. Tried hard reset, updated firmware including upgrade to WM-6. Anyone have ideas about a solution. By the way, the problem occasionally goes away for a few hours but always returns. The last time it failed it has not gone away.

Strange, maybe the internal cable isn't seated correctly

Has the phone taken any knocks or bangs?

Not really,
But i am guessing that you use the 5-way-nav more then the touch screen for something to get nocked out of wack .

I'm on my second Treo 750v; the first had keyboard problems and the second one does now as well. Trying to get a replacement from Palm...
