Yes,
there is an official supported Palm release, it is the Ireland/Netherland site, but the "problem is that i am using it in France instead of there, it is not the French 750 used here

Okay, I dont think its a problem really. You can use any country/carrier version with the method Ive post earlier from here. Your Treo will accept any update regardless of country/carrier using that method.

Here's an example; let say you own a AT&T Treo but would like to use it in eg; Vodafone Australia. All you have to do is to download the Vodafone Australia WM6 official update and run with the method Ive mentioned above and your 750 will work like it should be.

thank you very much Cypher for your advice, frankly, i would really like to try again, the problem is that i got back a brand new Treo and i am quite scared to try again cos if it does not work again, it will not be very nice to ask one more, i promise to be a good boy and not trying again

Well, you seems like youre in need of a solution and I didnt know that youve just got a replacement set.

On a serious note, I think that every 750 should be updated to WM6 as it does more good than harm and makes your 750 experience so much more pleasant.

And i totally aggre with u, i ve tried it as you know, but the problem with "receiving call", it is really bugging me out, i will tried to ask for the other Treo to use it for test, we never know

But as my friend told me, it is really a matter of Carrier, and this one (Bouygues Telecom) is really posing problem with this mobile, she's still trying to find out why... wait and see

I am a very tech savvy guy, but non experienced to the ROM flashing realm of treos. Even I am a little leary of trying instructions that I see in threads (mainly because they assume everyone has the knowledge of how cheetah unlocker or whatever the hell they post works). As with almost anything, until you have done it or seen it, it's all babble and sort of nonsensical...lol. Also because my phone is from work, I'm a little hesitant to go out on the limb and EFF it up. I could get away with it, but it looks bad when you have to call your AT&T rep and say I need a new phone because I fried the ROM trying to upgrade to an unofficial 6.1....lol.

murphey's law always seems to follow me where ever i go. but i do also think it's awesome to have hacked up stuff that WORKS BETTER

How do I access the WIFI? Also, the picture you have of your avaitar... Is that an actual application you have on your phone? if so, where can i get that?? Thanks for all your help!!!

FrankMCJR, do you have a wifi card? The 750, regardless of the version of Windows Mobile installed, doesn't support wifi without an add on card.
