![]() | How to convert video files .avi or DVDs to watch on treo 750 with MAC OSX leopard Hello everyone: I am new to this forum, and I also have a new treo 750. I wanted to put some of the clips i have from my camera.... (.avi files) to my treo, and have been unsuccessful. I don't know if it was a mistake by getting a window based phone instead of keeping it OS or ??? It has been a bit frustrating. Can someone give me some expertise? Thank you!!!!Tiffany |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You may need a different video player program. I don't have any experience with converting video to the 750 just yet, but I'll get back to you. Unless someone else answers before I can. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome to treonauts Tiffanyctiffy. Nice to have you here. (cute name too) Anyway, I have an audio/video mental imparement, and the idea of file conversion scares me silly. Even though this is not exactly what you're looking for, I have been looking at the Neuros. Have been intrigued by the idea of recording in real time in one pass onto the memory card. and poof ...done. Also love the words "effortlessly capture" in the treonauts advert. The only reason I haven't bought it yet, is that I'm waiting to read some more comments by someone who actually has one. Here is a quote from our very own treonauts store: "The Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder is the easiest way to get video content onto your Centro, Treo 755p, Treo 750, Treo 700p, Treo 700wx, Treo 700w, Treo 680, Treo 650, Treo 600, or Treo 90. The Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder enables you to effortlessly capture content from any analog video source, including cable or satellite television, DVD players, VCRs, camcorders, and PVRs such as Tivo™. The video content is saved as MPEG-4 video files, eliminating the hassle of proprietary file formats. Utilizing standard Compact Flash (CF) or Secure Digital (SD) memory cards as the storage medium, you can record content on a card for viewing on your TV, or transfer that content onto your PC, Laptop, PDA, SmartPhone or portable media player. Roughly the size of a PDA device, the Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder hooks up to your existing home theater components, and allows you to view still photos on your TV or listen to MP3 audio files through your stereo. No PC Required. CF or SD Storage card required but not included." What do you people think? Anybody have experience? |

![]() | Hi Lotus Lord: Thanks again, but why is it that it does not have the volume. I only downloaded the trial version, just to see if it would work. But it does not have volume. Is it because it is a trial version???? Any insights on that? Thank you. tiffany |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Are you running wm5 or 6 5 has known audio issues. Seemingly cured in wm6 or check your volume controls are they at max. Or some 3rd pty programs sometimes hijack your settings that may have happended here. If you are wm5 there is an audio update patch on the plam web site if wm6 its probably one of the other items mentioned above. Get back with us and we will try to help you out until the issue is resolved. |
