Unhappy Outlook Sync Problems, Treo 750, AS 4.2, WM5.0

I'm running ActiveSync 4.2 on my Windows XP.

I own a Treo 750 that runs WindowsMobile 5.0.

At first my computer was running Outlook 2000, and had problems with synching.

Basically, although it says in ActiveSync that all my contacts are being synched, they don't all show up on my Treo (I have around 850 contacts). The same is true with my calendar. It doesn't show all my appointments. I'm synching with the supplied cable and it stays connected and doesn't give an error.

I thought it was Outlook 2000 as the user guide says that you need at least Outlook 2002.

Well, I bought Outlook 2007, but it still does the same thing.

I can add new contacts, and when I add new contacts to Outlook they synch.

I have no clue what the problem is, but would appreciate some help.

Frustrated.

Is it they dont show up on the today screen or they are not showing up at all in the calendar application? If they are not on the today screen make sure that you have the today screen set to show calendar entries. If its they are not showing up at all you may need to uninstall and reinstall the software off your installation cd or do a reset either soft or hard. Have you tried doing the soft reset?. Have you read the troubleshooting active sync in the user guide or at palm.com in the 750 support page?

same problem

Hi i have the same problem, i've done a fresh boot and cleared my treo and i still not all the calendar events show up when i activesync. Have you found any solutions yet?

Are you using outlook 2007? Are you using vista by chance? If so the windows mobile device center and your outlook may not be totally friendly right now.

active sync not the problem

I tried upgrading to activesync 4.5 like you suggested and i found that the same problem was happening. I've narrowed down the problem a little bit more, I'm still able to sync my calendar events but only up to about 2 weeks before whatever the current date is, everything before 2weeks tends to disapear after syncing unless its a reoccuring event. Based on this fact, i think activesync is probably working find and the problem is probably with my outlook account settings or something related to my outlook calendar.

Does this problem sound familiar to anyone?
