Active Sync giving me problems... - Treo Forum

This morning my 750 started giving me problems while trying to sync.. When I insert the patch cord the laptop and 750 connect and then I receive prompts to establish a new relationship... The program shows the old relationship but I can not find where to use that relationship instead of making a new one...

Any hints?

I am also having a problem with activy sync. It was working ok for awhile and then Im getting the error that it does not recognize my device. I have tried everything , different syncing cords, different cradles, I put the disk back in and delted active sync and reinstalled it and nothing. I bought 2 new games, one I got downloaded and the other I cannot as my active sync stopped working again. This is really frustrating. thanks for listening.

I'm going to suggest that you reboot your computer, and then do a soft reset on your Treo.

To do the soft reset, press the reset button behind the miniSD card cover. Your data will not be lost.

Yeah I already tried the soft reset, hard reset, different cables , different cradles, dont know what else to do. Im getting fed up with it. when it did work it worked for awhile and then it would just stop. now its saying does not recogize device, says that the cable or the phone has malfunctioned. I know a lot of people that are having problems with this so Im beginning to think its the phone . anyone else having this problem

I'm wondering if there are 3rd party apps that are causing problems. Do you have any 3rd party programs running on it?

I am having the same trouble. I guess I could use a card reader to install my apps.

I was having problems with ActiveSync, caused by ZoneAlarm I think, switching off Advanced network functionality on the Treo cured it

I'm going to delete my old partnerships and create a new one hopefully that will work...
