Treo 750 Touch Screen Problem

Hi I've had my 750v for about a month now but have recently encountered a problem with the touch screen where it won't recognize ANYTHING I click on.

I have done a hard reset and tried to start anew, but realize that I cannot align the screen. So I took out the battery and left it out over night. This morning I tried again and for some reason the screen works again just for a short while, but enough time for me to get through that alignment stage. Now the screen won't recognize my clicks again, and I've noticed that the menu bar ceases to work if I click "up" on it to the portion that shows last opened programs. But then I ran that game "Dynamite" and realized that I can use my stylus to point in the direction I want the balls to go, but the game slows down and I have to use the directional key to shoot the ball out.

From Dynamite, I feel as if my touch screen is still working, but for some reason, I simply cannot use it to click on anything. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.

Leo

I'd try a hard reset. If that doesn't fix it, it may be a faulty screen.

Did you read the first sentence in the second paragraph of the original post?

I did miss that, sorry for the mistake.

Faulty touch screen would be my guess then, or possibly a loose cable. Either way, I'd try to get it replaced, hopefully under warranty.

I haven't seen many parts available for the 750 yet...

Thanks for responding. I hope to send in the phone and get a replacement under warranty.
