Alarm Clock

I recently received my new 750. I have been using the 650. My 650 had a wonderful program, called the World Clock. I used this program primarily as my wake-up alarm clock. The alarm was loud, used the revelie call and was accurate.

Where can I find a good loud alarm clock which will run on my 750?

Here is a FREE one called Watchmaker.

Watchmaker - PalmGear.com: Download Palm Software for your Treo 650/600, Tungsten, LifeDrive or other Palm OS Device

The 750 is Windows Mobile based, so that might not work.

Correction, it WILL NOT work. Palm OS and WM5 are two completey different OSs. Code written for one will not run on the other.

Regarding the Alarm clock function, i have found that the one which comes with the Treo 750 is adequate for my purposes. I used some loud free ringtones (MP3 or WAV) which I found on some website and boy I have no excuse, works like.... clockwork!

What Alarm Clock?

Why is it that you have to set the Alarm every day!?!

Most phones have a good alarm. What's the deal?

Same question... had similar situation with my T650, and am looking for something also.

Any other suggestions? Freeware would be OK, but will pay for something as good/useful as the old Palm World Clock.

Thanks

I have just downloaded the PocketClock mentioned right at the top of this thread. It appears to work well on the Treo 750, with all sorts of cute stuff that I'll probably never use, like phases of the moon. It even has that nice world map showing the night and day that the Treo 650 WorldClock had, which I just love when I'm travelling. It somehow helps you get your head around jetlag. I've just got the trial version at present - I'll add a post if I discover any problems.

I recently made the switch from Palm OS to WM & went through the same search for a clock/alarm. I ended up getting Spb Time and have been very happy with it -- it has a *loud* alarm with volume independent of the phone volume (that's important if you need a loud alarm) and it has a stopwatch/timer and nice world clock functions.

I have a great alarm that has been of immense help to me as I share a room with two regular hour office goers. I have researched the net and to my delight found a helpful site: shakeawake.com. You can choose from a range of alarm clocks that have the latest technology to suit your needs.
