Tweaking the today Screen on treo 750 - Treo Forum

Just got my treo 750. Have been a treo user for 4+ years. Had the treo 680, 650 and 600.

Does anyone know how to personalize the today screen on the 750? I want to change the background and add other widgets on to the screen. I have seen one person do it on the 2125. Something to do with hacking the XML code that displays the screen.

I am running goodlink. Does anyone know how to change the soft keys on the today screen to goodlink/other programs?

I think what you are looking for are called today screen plugins. You install them and then activate them and then activate them in the Today app under settings/personal/.

Here is a good link to a good assortment of freeware today plugins (as well as other PPC freeware).

I just changed the settings under Menu>Preference>Today Settings

On the "Appearance page I added a pic and changed the transparency to 15% so that the pic showed up well and on the "Items" tab, I selected the things I wanted on the main page.
