Wifi on T750

Does anyone know anything about the new Treo 750 having Wifi or even remotely capable of Wifi connectivity? I currently have the 650 and if I have to make the big jump to WM from Palm, I want to do it using a machine that is Wifi capable like the Cingular 8525. Bigger screen, bigger keyboard, better camera and most of all Wifi enabled. I love the treo layout, but if a switch has to be made, Wifi is the deal breaker.

Any thoughts???

i remember seeing a wi-fi card for the 750, can't place where i saw it. but yes, there is definitely wi-fi capabilities for the 750. it's a mini sd wi-fi card that sticks slightly out of the side of the 750 housing.

How does this affect the battery life? Are there any extended batteries coming out for the 750 anytime soon?? Will the charger (wall and car) for the 650 work with the 750?

How is the browser experience with WM compared to Palm Browser?

Thanks guys

As it takes power it will put additional drain on the battery, quite noticeably with the card I've got

Seidio are producing one as are Boxwave I believe.

Yep

I would say Pocket Internet Explorer is a slightly better browser than Blazer which added to the higher data speeds of the 750 vs 650 makes it a better experience.

The 750w will work as a modem to be used with Dial Up Networking either via cable or bluetooth. With the cable takes a bit more setup work I think as my PC at least thinks the phone is a LAN device.

Hey, Kimmy!
Since you're scanning the forums, hocking the stores goods , you may have an answer to this...

Does this miniSD Wifi card stick out of the side of the 750 or does it sit flush like a normal MiniSD card (allowing the trap door to close)?
