![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If its branded for ATT and you unlocked it you should install the ATT or CIN ROM. I had a ATT 680 that I updated for a friend. He uses it on Tmo but is branded CIN. So I installed teh Cingular update and it worked. I think that the ROW update is for Treos made for outside the U.S.

![]() | Mine was probably branded for Cingular as that's the logo it has on it's body casing. It was already unlocked when I bought it, sold unlocked on eBay. I haven't seen any Cin Roms anywhere, unless I didn't realize I was looking at one. What happens if I try to install it and it screws up my device somehow? Am I out of luck or can it be uninstalled to return to the previous operating system? Frankly, I am of the mind of, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I'd like to have the correct WM6 download, just in case something goes wrong on my device, but I don't think I'll actually install it until I have to. It's working just fine and not giving me any problems at all. And being not as familiar with mobiles as I am with computers, I'm a little nervous about trying to rewrite the ROM. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I haven't looked for a ROM update in a while so I don't know if Palm still has one. YOu may search the web for one and see if you can find one.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That should be the one you want. Palm had a troubleshooter program that you could download to get out of a situation where the download got stuck. I dont know if you can still find it or not and I dont know if it would help with a ROW update or not. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I left mine on the card and I still have a copy on my desktop at the office It should not ne necessary to do that though You might keep it on your desktop and archive it in case for some reason you might reinstall it say if you got a replacement 750 that did not have the update either. |
