Thanks, jfa02. I'll download then think long and hard before risking it. I think I'll hold off unless my WM5 starts sassing me. Until then, I'll feel better knowing I'll have an alternative on my computer, just in case I need it.

You can't use AT&T's version of the ROM on a Rodgers branded device.

Ah, I just realized you were answering the previous question I asked.

However, my device isn't Roger's branded (Rogers is local and I bought the device in the US). It has the Cingular logo on it but it came unlocked and without a contract with anyone.

Does that help with knowing which version I should be using?

Oh, and do you guys even recommend upgrading if I'm not having any problems with WM5?

Your device will probaly be more stable on wm6 than on wm5 An official wm6 ROW rom would be the best choice if you can find it.

I'll have a look. I see there's versions called, 'standard english'. Would that be the right one? I have no idea what ROW means.

ROW = Rest Of World and generally refers to bog standard/vanilla GSM firmware without any carrier branding.

Hope I've got the right one. I admit, I'm afraid to install it.
