running S-L-O-W - Treo Forum

battery went completely dead the other night (never happened before) since then several applications (Contacts, Text Messaging, Email, etc.) have alternating with being VERY slow in responding to key inputs and menu selections. Any advice? Running Palm 750 with WM 6.1.

Its either an issue with wimno6.1 or have you tried closing down some programs the x may not close but minimize so your memory available could be low low = slow also try clearing your browser cache if you use the web. delete the temp files.

You may have too many programs running. Try and close some programs using the Task Manager or perform a soft reset.

have checked avail mem its fine. cleard cache. only 3 running programs. have used soft resets to restore speed at times, then other times it just slows down again. don't want to do a hard reset, but I am running out of options to try.

Perform a hard reset then install the back up you have on your SD card. That could help.
I had an issue where my ringtones weren't coming through on a phone call. I performed a hard reset, and then restored my latest Sprite Backup and it worked. You may just need to just clear things up a bit.
