need some advice for my bluetooth (trio 700wx) - Treo Forum

i am so glad that this site is here. i just found out about it this past sunday and have been most informed every since. i do have one question to put out to the group. is anyone having a prob with the blue tooth connectivity. i have the new motorola 710 and at times there is a lot of static and sometimes i have to hit the reset button on the back of the trio. also, oops, how do i send pics to another cell or to someones email.

Bluetooth can be a bit hit and miss with most phones but seems particularly problematic with the Treo's

To add onto what Taz said, BT is hit or miss w/ a lot of WM devices. I've had connection issues with my 700WX and previous BT earpieces. The one that seems to work best is the BlueAnt X9. It connects and actually stays connected. As for sending pix, it's pretty simple. Locate the picture you want to send (the default folder will usually be "My Pictures"), when the picture is displayed, your left soft key should display as "send." Press this and you will be able to select which of your email accounts you want to use to send the picture, or you can select MMS, if you're going to send to another cell phone. Select either MMS or your email account, address it, and launch!

I agree with Tazuk. The best thing is to do a little research before getting a headset. Normally, Plantronics have little issues with Palm phones from my experience.

Not all phones supports Bluetooth communication with Palm Treo. On the Treo, make sure that 'Beam' is enabled in order for transfers to work.
