 | New Treo user-Help Hey all, I just got a Treo 700w and I think I may have jumped in way over my head. First things first though, I installed Microsoft activesync, but when I try to sync the device I get this error message: "Synchronization cannot be started because you are not able to log on to the network and access information. Restart your desktop computer and synchronize again. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator." Thanks! |

| welcome keeper06. Sorry you are having issues. It sounds like you are on an office exchange server type network. If so you would not need activesync like you would use on your home system. You would log into an exchange server. |

| Try disabling Advanced network functionality under Settings, Connections, USB to PC. That's where it is on the 750 so I would expect it to be roughly the same name/place on the 700w
