![]() | ok, this forum is GREAT!!! ...I have lost the sound on all of my notifications, alarms, & Windows media player (as I stated in the subject line...sorry for the repeat)... ....all of my 'ringtones' work just fine, factory installed & MP3's that I have cut using Audacity.... ....They work fine & the ringer works fine.... my speakerphone works fine when someone is on the phone with me... ...it's just all of the other sounds??? wierd... it will not even play the notification sounds in the library when you go to the "manage" key & you can play samples of all of them.... ..I'm clueless, I have tried a soft reset...hmmmmm... I would like to listen to my Mp3's (thank-you LotusLord for responding to my last post)... ..but I simply can't right now??? |

![]() ![]() | Hi CoffeeFreak, I was just wondering if you have the volume turned down too low. The side volume buttons will control the ringer , the music AND the volume of the notifications. I just tested it by going to manage ringtones, turned the volume down with the side button, then played the test...nothing!!! So, try turning up the volume, and then see what happens when you test the notification sounds. I hope it is something easy like this and not some other software issue. I have been famous for turning off the ringer, then wondering why nobody is calling me only to find a bunch of missed calls showing up when I checked the screen! |

![]() | OH MY GOODNESS..... I cannot believe that is totally what happened. Wow, I am completely laughing. Come to find out & constantly adjust the 'phone' volume with the side buttons, but failed to notice the slider all the way at the bottom of the Trio icon.... ...thanks so much.... I too am glad it's not a software or some other issue that's hard to resolve.... I have quite a few friends with Treo's... I'm going to get them on this site.... |
