![]() | New Treo 700wx, video player I've searched and read around the forums, and thought I'd found a solution. Alas, it did not work to do what I wanted to do. I have the following: Verizon Treo 700wx, Windows Vista, 2GB MiniSD The problem: I downloaded and installed AutoGK in order to take some videos I have on my PC that I've shot with my digital camera (Sony DSCW80) and convert them for playback on my Treo. I converted them into .avi format and put them on the Treo (they were .mpg files, and they would not play in that format on the installed Windows Media Player). I also had the Nero Mobile player (jukebox, video, etc) and I deleted the app as it did not work well at all (too slow). Neither version of the video (original or .avi conversion) will play on my Treo. The file is 40 or so seconds in length, so it is not a large file at all. It fit on the card easily. After searching and searching for answers, I'm at a loss as to how to make this work. I have never had a problem doing things on a cell, as I am computer literate, and have operated several different software programs that send things to phones, convert, etc (WebJal, several Motorola products, etc). I can make my own ringtones with no problems and wall papers and skins and all of that. But, for some odd reason, I can not make this work. Can someone please provide some insight as to how to make this work? Either a video player I need or software to convert the video to where it will play (I'd prefer freeware of course). |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have you tried converting it to an MPEG4 video? I normally use MoviePod but that's not free. Although it's written for converting videos for the iPod they work fine on the Treo ![]()
