Bought 700wx need installation CD - Treo Forum

This was a lightly used phone and came with no CD. Is there a way to download the software? It's an Altel phone.

You can probably download the software from palm.com but it wont have all the bonus software programs on the cd my 750 came with sprite backup and some other stuff. You might go to Alltel and see if you can wheedle or whine you way to a cd or find a colleague who has the 700 wx and borrow their cd or look on ebay or elsewhere on the web to buy one. Thats how I got my cingular 650 cd back several years ago.

The software included with the CD is Outlook 2002 and ActiveSync. It's fairly likely you have a newer version of Outlook if you've bought a new computer within the last 5 years from any reputable dealer. A newer version of Active Sync (or Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista) can be downloaded here

The only thing you'd be losing out on is any extras they might have included, which I don't remember there being many with my 750 disc.
