 | Gmail not working right Since the new year, and new version of Active Sync (4.5), I have been having issues with my gmail account on my 700wx. At first it was only emails disappearing after I opened attachments; now it seems to have a mind of it's own. For the past several days, any emails that come in will disappear occasionally and then reappear and then later disappear to reappear later, rather annoying. My gmail account is set to POP, and I have all the settings correct as per Palm and my phone server. Any ideas???? My server is TELUS. Cheers. |

| welcome lahkn to treonauts. We are glad you are here. I am not sure but i9t may be something in the way TELUS handles gmail pop mail. Or it might be a software conflict or hijacked setting in the device. Have you installed any other new software or updated any software lately other than AS 4.5? If so that might be the culprit. Can you set up gmail as imap? If so that might resolve the issue. Not sure but might be worth a try. |

| reply to my gmail issue the only software I have loaded is adobe for pocket pc, so I don't that is the issue. it may be in how my phone provider deals with things, you're right. I was using IMAP until yesterday and just this morning switched to POP, it's holding right now. the really irritating thing is the emails disappearing once I open attachments. |

| why pop mail? just fishing for ways to make it work, as a IMAP things weren't great. I think my phone server only works with POP though. on my way to whine again with them on the phone. |
