Treo 700w - PC Monitor installation issue - Treo Forum

I have a treo 700w that I want to sync contacts with from my PC. I have tried many ways to install Verizon's PC Monitor (on my pc) and I continue to get the following error message:

Error registering file c:\program files\wireless sync\file collection.dll; class not registered

Does anyone know a solution or work-around for this error? Verizon is no help and I have stumped the techs I have asked to look at this, so far.

Any help would be great!

Can you not just sync with Outlook via Activesync?

I was thinking the same thing. Verizon propriatary software scares me.
