![]() | Hello Treonauts...this is my first posting. I have a Treo 700wx and I am syncing with my office exchange server via wireless using the server security certificate. It has ALWAYS worked great, but I have recently noticed a strange phenomenon... It appears that when I create a calendar appointment on my Treo, it is NOT completely appearing in my Desktop Outlook after sync. Here are the symptoms: 1) I create a test appointment on my Treo and use teh 15 minute reminder 2) After a sync it is NOT appearing on my desktop calendar 3) 15 Minutes before the appointment, I am getting a reminder on my Treo AND my desktop! My desktop even has the option to view the appointment. When I click to view the appointment, the details come up as viewable in my outlook calendar pop-up. 4) It appears that the TIME of the appointment in the outlook calendar does NOT match the time create on my Treo. 5) If I then edit the appointement in OUtlook (add some notes, etc) after teh next sync, those changes DO appear on my Treo. 6) If I create an appointment in my Outlook, it does appear on my treo. 7) If I edit an appointemnt on my Treo that was CREATED in outlook, the appoinement then DISSAPPEARS from my outlook calendar. It is almost as if the appoinements are INVISIBLE in outlook when there are changes/creations made on the Treo. Kind of like Outlook is not ready to post teh changes, so it just makes it invisible. However, Outlook DOES have a record of the appointment but keeps it in the background and follows through with reminders. I could do more tests, but I am not sure what else to test. Any ideas? |

![]() ![]() | welcome runelkrun to treonauts. I have a 750 on wm6 not the 770wx. It sounds to me that since it was working great for a while and now isnt that there might be something different on your exchange server settings or maybe you installed a program on your treo that has created a conflict in your settings for the calendar somehow. Have you installed any new software on the treo about the time the problem started? If so try deleting it (if you can on your network) and see if that takes care of the problem. Good luck! |

| Regular Contributer ![]() | I use ActiveSync, so I am not all that experienced with wireless syncing, but I have similar issues at times, and the first thing I try (OK second if you count multiple re-sync attempts LOL) is to delete the relationship on the PC and PPC, and then sync. The system usually kicks in again. Not sure if that will help in your case, just thought I would throw that out there!! |

![]() | solution not found, but Treo is no longer the problem To all - thanks for your great responses. I tried to remove one progam from my palm that had been installed, but that didn't help. So I then had the notion to figure out if there was something OTHER than the TREO and OUTLOOK that was causing the problem. The intermediary between the two is EXCHANGE SERVER. Our server has an exchange web interface that I am able to access. SO I did the following test: 1) I created an appointment on the Treo and did the sync. I then logged into the web exchange server to see if my calendar had been updated. YES! It updated perfectly! However, my desktop OUTLOOK was still not updating. 2) I entered an appointment in my calendar through the web excahnge interface and did a sync. YES! The Treo updated perfectly, but my desktop outllok was still not updating. Hence, I have figured out that the problem lies in the communication between the server and my desktop outlook. It is not related to the treo at all. You guys are off the hook! Thanks for your assistance, and have a great weekend. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's very odd. Sounds like an set up issue in Exchange.
