   | Who is your cell provider? Unitel is a CDMA provider, if you're with Angola Telecom, you won't be able to use the device because they have an AMPS network. |

| Lotus thank you, but my cell provider is Movicel and is CDMA, in angola we have 2 providers Unitel is GSM and Movicel is CDMA......iam CDMA, I WANT know if i can use my verizon palm treo 700 wx cdma in my country...... how do I do to program with the angola ferquancia? |

| The CDMA frequency of the verizon 700wx is set for the US CDMA frequencies. You would probably need to have a radio in the 700wx set to pick up the frequency in Angola. Check with your provider as to the frequency specs and see if it will work it may or may not. |

| If Movicel operate like the US CMDA carriers then the phone would need to be registered on their network, something only they can do. They are also very reluctant to do this on a phone they haven't provided  This is one of the big benefits of using a GSM provider
