SD cards not recognized by Tre0 700wx - Treo Forum

I have 2 SD cards, one is a 4G pqi SDHC and the other is a just an SD 8G. When I put them in it vibrates telling me something is in the slot but nothing happens. Now the other day I stuck in a 2G SD from my parents camera and it detected it right away etc. I know the other 2 cards work because I use them both in my Nikon D40x and my computer detects there is something when I use a card reader, what am I doing wrong?

Take a look at this thread. SDHC is not supported with out a little hack. But it works well once you do it.

The problem is that our treo's arent SDHC compatible. The format of the cards are different. HC stands for High Capacity. Looks like all we can use is a max of 2GB.

Some of our customers here at Radio Shack want to use cards larger than 2, such as 4 and up. And their older digital camera's cant detect them. So I'm just guessing that we are seeing the same issue with the treo 700wx and some other models.
