![]() | I used to plug my Motorola e815 into an external stereo headset/microphone using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Now I have a TREO 700wx, and need to do the same with it but I cannot find an adapter to do it. The 2.5mm adapters online only carry stereo output to 3.5mm headphones, but there's no microphone capability. Bluetooth is not an option for my setup. Can anyone help me with this? Do I need to make my own adapter and cut up a Treo headset? I wouldn't know what the pinout is. What to do???! -Steve in Phx. |

![]() ![]() | Hi Steve !! Yay! Another new treonaut from Arizona. Welcome. You may find something you like at our treonauts accessories store under the category "hybrid headphones" Basically what you are wanting, one of them was the "Smartphone Experts Hybrid Headphone" it was 14.95. (don't remember if it was stereo tho') There was one for almost 300.00, a noise cancelling one (not bose). If treonauts dosen't have what you want at lease we know to look for "hybrids" Stay cool! ![]() |

![]() | I've seen the hybrid headphone setups, but that's not what I need. I need to plug my treo into an intercom system. The input for the intercom is 3.5mm, and is meant to plug into a mobile phone. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have you tried it with just the 2.5 to 3.5 plugged into the intercom, yet? I have a 3.5 AUX plug in my car, and plug my Treo into it via an adapter without a mic. I can hear them through the car stereo, and they here me fine through the mic on the Treo.

![]() | Good idea, but I have to use the mic on the intercom so that's not an option. I think I'm resigned to the fact that I'll have to make my own adapter. |
