messages staying in outbox - Treo Forum

all of my messages do not leave the outbox. I am referring to aol, pop 3, etc. They do not leave the outbox. I have tried a reset and still not working. Any clues on what the issue may be?

are you with sprint or verizon or alltel. It may be something in your isp's email If they keep a copy opn the server it will always come to you again and again unless you change that setting hiope that helps.

It may have something to do with your SMTP server. What mail provider are you using? AOL?

Verizon. message accounts include POP 3 and AOL Mail. Both were working fine. This happened over the weekend. I work in Technology and am used to troubleshooting these devices. Have yet to encounter an issue like this. I can successfully log sync to the point where it logs in, reads the headers then it states the outgoing server is not available. I can browse the web though.

It does sound like an SMTP server issue. What SMTP server(s)? are you using with these accounts?
