List Pro 5.. can't Install on my device - Treo Forum

I'm at a loss..

I've successfully installed my purchased ListPro 5 on my PC but cannot get the program to my mobile device. (700wx)

Upon install ListPro says that the "next time the device is connected" the program will be installed on the device but everytime I sync- the program never installs on it.

I just tried now to drag and drop the ListPro program into "TREO-My Documents" folder and sync'd but when trying to run the program on the device got a "not a valid pocket PC app"

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

When you got list pro 5 did you download it off the web? If so which product did you down, for pocket pc or smartphone ? If you downloaded smartphone that a phone without a touchscreen like the blackjack or the new centro not for a treo with a touchscreen. So you might need to get the pocket pc version. Get back with us and let us know please.

The List Pro 5 version is for Windows PC and Windows Mobile. Again, it installs perfectly on the PC and advises that it is "pending application install" and will install on next connection of device to PC..
but still won't transfer,,

stuck.

Yes, but there are 2 versions of Windows Mobile. You need the Pocket PC version, not the Smartphone version. As jfa said, the Smartphone version is the one that doesn't support touch screens, and may not (I can't say for sure) sync to a device running the Pocket PC version as you are. I can't say for sure if this is the issue you're running into, but it's possible.

me neither I looked on the web site for list pro and it showed the smartphone and the pocket pv\c versions. The smartphone wont work in a touch screen device.
