Bought used 700w w/no OEM CD--help!

Hello Treonauts,
I would like to ask a question, I purchased a used Treo 700w, but did not get desktop CD ROM with the unit. Can anyone help me finding a source where I could purchase or download one?
I see that ActiveSync can be downloaded on line, but I cannot find the actual software that would make the treo sync with a desktop calendar application. I assume that application came with the original CD ROM.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks.

You would use Activesync to sync your Treo with the Outlook Calendar. If you want to sync to something else then you will need third party software.

I was told that for the 700w there is an applicqation that comes on its CD ROM just like what you see on the Palm OS. I was also told by Verizon rep that in order to sync to Microsoft Outlook I would need a third party application.
I am confused...Baby steps please!!

Just choose your phone and provider from the drop down menu and it takes you right where you need to go to download Palm Desktop and Hotsync Manager. There's an Outlook update as well.

Nope, there's no equivalent of the Palm Desktop for Windows Mobile devices.

Nope, all you need is Outlook installed on your PC and Activesync. If you want to sync with Outlook Express then yes you would need third party software.

That's only relevant for PalmOS Treo's

I love it - Verizon at its best. You don't need a thing, just ActiveSync and Outlook, like TazUk said.

Thanks to everyone for all the information. I will give it a shot as soon as I receive my sync cable in the mail.
