Treo 700wx Ringer Volume Issue - Help! - Treo Forum

Hello - I downloaded some 3rd party ringers for my phone. When I test them in "sounds", they are nice and loud. But when someone actually calls me, the ringer is really soft unless I touch one of the volume keys (volume is turned all the way up). Anyone know how to fix this?

Also, I have assigned ringers to certain friends, but when they call, the default ringer for "known callers" rings instead. Any clue why?

Finally - is there anything I can do, or any third party program that can boost the volume of the ringers? (Volumecare is not compatible with Treo 700wx). Thank you!

I have the 750 and a lot of times I find that in the course of playing a game or just grabbing the phone that I manipulate the volume control on the side and the ringer volume is either way loud or way soft. If its a software problem you might find something at ppcfreeware.com that would be of assistance.
