![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's very easy on Windows Mobile. Do you have them on your memory card? If so, Click Start> Settings> Sounds and Notifications. Go to the Manage Tab and Press Menu Choose add and Navigate to where the MP3s are located. and that's it. |

![]() | Stock RT's are locked in... I've never seen or heard of any way to ditch them. You, also, can not beam them because of DRM issues... You can also use MIDI's for some RT's-Alarms & many alerts will only play in MID format.

![]() | I use a free program called AUDACITY to make my ringers it allows me to pick only the 23 industry standard seconds that I want to use as a ringer. It then allows me to edit the first couple of seconds and last couple of seconds of the portion that I have created and set it to "FADE IN" and "FADE OUT" at the end. Then save the file as an mp3 for best quality ( it should only be about 300-400kb in size ) after that use Activesync to navigate to EXPLORE/WINDOWSMOBILE BASED DEVICE/APPLICATION DATA/SOUNDS-from there just "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" and viola ! Custom Ringers !

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can assign specific ringtones to different people, my guess is they have a ringer assigned already. |

![]() | I have had the best success with WAV files as ringtones. I also use Audacity (Free) to convert them as well as Adobe Audition ($$). With the 700w (WM5) you just put them in the windows\rings folder and they will show up in the list of ringtones under | settings > sounds & notifications > notifications. | You might experience where the phone randomly stops ringing with custom ringtones, but if you set your known caller and unknown caller rings back to the standard one, call yourself, and then go back to the custom rings, it will ring normally again. |
