Programs opening while on the phone - Treo Forum

The Lord be with you.

I have been using my wx for a couple of months and have a nagging issue that I cannot figure out:

When I talk on the phone, random screens open on their own. The most common screen is the settings screen for the time zone. Other times programs will open.

I have tried to pay attention to whether I am pressing a key with my cheek while on the phone, but don't seem to be.

The major problem I am having is when I am on a phone tree and "enter the extension number of your party" is asked for. I go to the screen and a setting or program screen is open, and in trying to get back to the "home" screen, I lose the call I am on.

Any thoughts?

You can disable the touch screen whilst on a call, enable that feature and see if it helps. You do this by going to Start, Settings, Keyguard and tick the box labeled Disable touchscreen: While on call in Today Screen
