SD Card Problem - Treo Forum

Hello, I just my phone and like it alot. The phone is great however I have one problem I insert my SD Card and everything locks up. i.e. phone key does not work, ok does not work, touch screen no work, etc

SD = ScanDisk Ultra II 1.0 GB with USB feature

Has anyone else seen this? How do I fix this? Is this card compatible?

I have powered down and up with same results.

Also as soon as I pop the card out everything works fine...

Please help

You may want to try to format the card. Do you have a card reader? If so, insert the card into the reader, go into My Computer, right click on the removable disk and choose format.

Just tried that same results, everything is still locked up. Once card is taken out all is fine.

Is the lock switch on the card in the locked position?

I have similar problems with a couple 2GB cards on my WX, I don't think there is any rhyme or reason, if a card isn't working with the phone, I just use it for something else, and use a different one in the phone...I am using a 1GB currently. Good luck!!

Wow thats weird. I don't have any other cards at the moment and didn't want to buy any, but it looks like I may have to.

Also I tried the lock switch and its fine. I even tried it in either direction.
