 | Keyboard won't work while on calls When on phone calls the keyboard buttons will not work. For example, when checking voicemail, pressing a particular key to save, delete, replay the message, does nothing. However, I have discovered that turning on the speakerphone will activate the buttons, but sometimes just for one push only, which requires me to toggle back and forth between speaker and non-speaker each time I need to push a key. The keys work normally any other time NOT on a phone call. I had Sprint exchange phones for me during my first 30 days, thinking it was a bad handset, but the new one does the same thing so apparently I have dummied up and am doing something wrong. I assume it is not a keyguard issue since keys all work normally when NOT on a phone call. NO third party software. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

| This problem is really frustrating. Oh, btw, it has stopped ringing on incoming calls as well. No changes made since it was working properly. Anyone?

| LL, As stated in my OP there is no third party software. But I have finally solved the keyboard problem by locking the touchscreen while on active calls in Today screen. Trial & error. But the ringer problem persists, sort of. I have an old post where a member had the same problem and worked around it by changing from "ring" to "increasing ring." If I change back to "ring" it does not ring. It's a stop-gap measure but I would still like to solve this. Any ideas? Thanks.

| try turning off the BT and see if you still have the same problem. Have you ever used a wireheadset or ear buds etc. The 799 and 750 still use the same crappy headjack and it can be tricked into thinking the headset is still connected and not let sound got to any other speaker |
