Palm Treo 700wx coming to Verizon - Treo Forum

Palm Treo 700wx to bring Verizon holiday cheer . . .

In case others missed this news bit over at EngadgetMobile or Howard Forums or Palminfocenter it appears likely that Verizon will be getting the Treo 700wx mid December. Below is the link from EngadgetMobiles site and to me its worth it if PPCTechs is still not able to get the RAM upgrade to work even after Verizon launches the Treo 700wx.

Since I have both a Treo 700p and Treo 700w and switch between them I would ultimately prefer the Treo 700wx with the increased RAM. Multitasking aside I feel Palm has required PalmOS Treo users to purchase too many apps to fix the (still functional) but very outdated OS.

So if you want a WM Treo and Verizon but don't like the memor on the Treo 700w, just wait a bit longer and see what develops.

Shame for the Verizon folks it's not the 750

The only big difference between the 700wx and 750 is the lack of antenna and the miniSD slot. I wouldn't mind the miniSD slot but I'll pass on the loss in reception the Treo 750 seems to get.

Rumors still abound from different sources, one says sometime either next week or on Black Friday, the others say mid December to Q1, on the Q1 part Verizon truly isn't that stupid they are losing sales on the Treo 700w and the Treo 700wx will certainly help.

The 750 is also a slightly slimmer form factor and has threaded SMS

But the 750v is GSM only and the threaded SMS has been pulled out and users are getting it to work. So all things are good.
