Contacts Synch - Treo Forum

I have a strange problem with synching my contacts. I'm using Activesync 4.5 and Outlook 2007, using a USB cable.

When I sync, it says it completes just fine, but none of the contacts are copied to the Treo. However, when I add a new contact (called "testing" etc) to the contact list on Outlook, it alone gets synched to the Treo.

It's as if only the specific contacts themselves don't get copied to the treo. I can no longer get any contacts to go over.

I've tried un-installing/re-installing different versions of Activesync, completely reformatting the Treo, deleting partnerships; every fix people recommend.

It feels like the problem may be with Outlook 2007. Any ideas?

OK, thought I could get around this, but no, I need help.
Syncing is a pain in the ass. Many duplicates, much time spent eliminating, only to have it happen the next time. What is up with duplicates?

Do you use a Palm OS? I know this is the 750 thread, but I thought you used a Palm OS based phone.

Yes, comiken, I do. So perhaps I should take this post elsewhere. I have seen a program called Undupe. Do you know if it is helpful?

By no means should you take your post else where. I had remembered that you had a palm os phone.

Okay, the issue I had was the same, duplicates. What I did was set my hotsync manager to "phone overrides computer." since my phone is the 'master planner', I only save to my computer for backup purposes.

Try that and see if it helps on duplicates.

I was trying to post from my TREO and then I received an Instant Message, my application has a background screen that pops up, and somehow I posted three times, three times, three times.

I deleted the extra posts.
