Cannot Send Email To Over 10 Recipients - Treo Forum

I got this phone from Sprint in February and I have never got this error until recently, maybe after I did a Sprint Vision update a few days ago. I know before, I have been able to send emails to over 10 people without a problem because I have always replied to a set mailing list with like 15 recipients on it, but nowwhen I do it its a problem. Is there anyway to get around it?

So, what happens when you try sending to more than 10 recipients? Error message? Mail simply doesn't arrive?

Who is your ISP? Is this mail going out on your sprint.com email account, or via some other ISP's smtp server?

It's not unusual for ISP's to set a maximum number of recipients as a spam-control measure (though usually somewhat higher than 10). If you are getting a "Too many recipients" error message, you may want to check to see if your ISP has recently instituted such a policy.

I get the error message that says "This meesage cannot have more than 10 recipients. Please reduce the number of recipients and send again."

This comes up for my hotmail account and a comcast account so I doubt if Comcast has anything to do with it.

Am I the only one who has recieved this error?

Any other questions or suggestions?

Does that come up when you try to send the message or after it's been sent?

It comes up when I push the send button, then I push OK to close the error window and it doesn't send unless I then remove the recipients and send again.

I've done a search and there are several people having this problem, seems to be a limitation in Pocket Outlook so I'm not sure how you managed to send to more recipients before

Thanks, now that I know its common I will do some research on my own and report the results in case this problem is solvable.
