Text Ring Tone Length - Treo Forum

So i was curious on if there is anyway to change how short the ringer is or if there is a program that can lengthen it.
looks like the text ringer is only 5 seconds. thanks

i was wondering the same thing...i would expect that a $500 phone would be capable of changing the txt ringtone.

is this the only way to change the txt ringer...i dont like downloading apps for my phone. Last one i DL was PhotoContact pro and it screwed up the phone.

You can change the sound used by going to Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications, Notifications tab and selecting IM: New instant message from the drop down list. This changes the sound played, but not how long it's played for
