| A Few Questions.... ![]() | Advice on a new Treo 700... I am getting a Treo finally(for VZW), but I have a few questions. I can get a Tree 700w for cheap from a friend who does not want a Smartphone, or I can buy a 700wx for the regular Verizon price. Is the wx worth the extra money? I have read some places that Verizon will sometimes replace the 700w for a wx at no charge. If this is true I know that the phone is still under its one year manufacturer’s warranty and I am curious as to whether they will replace the phone if I complain of the w’s tendency to crash if it is doing too much. I know that the phone has been replaced once already for a hardware bug, but the question remains as to which is the best option for me. Any advice? Thanks, Alex |

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | I would say, if you do want to try to switch it out, that your friend should do it under his plan. The only reason I say this is because once you get it from him, it now becomes "officially used". If he does it, it was originally his and may be more apt to get it replaced, then you can get the new 700wx from him afterward. Just a thought. Good Luck |
