700W no longer auto-checking email??!! - Treo Forum

My 700W is no longer automatically checking my email. I have Verizon and I'm on an Evdo network. I can manually issue a Send/Receive and my email is then retrieved but for some reason it will not automatically retrieve at my preset intervals of 4, 5, 6 and 7 minutes for each account. I have tried deleting my accounts and readding but that doesn't help.

Any suggestions? :-?

Do you have any third party software installed?

Yes I do, some. Nothing I installed since this problem has begun. I have Verizon wireless sync installed but it worked back then.

Perhaps some settings were changed on the mail server.

I almost typed that same thing earlier. Have you spoken to any of your IT people about the issue?

I wish I had someone to talk to, I am the System/Network Administrator. Its not only one account but all email accounts.

I was just trying to find out if this is a known issue with a quick fix. Obviously not.

Yeah, sure did. I am nearly about to do a hard reset, I said 'nearly', not quite there yet.
