Can't Answer Phone (700w) - Treo Forum

I have two challanges:

1. When I try to answer the phone, I use the green handset button to no avail. I have to click the 'answer' text shown on the bottom left of the touch screen. How to I setup the Treo 700w to answer with the handset button?

2. When the phone rings and the Treo is password protected I can't answer the device unless I unlock the phone. How can I anser the phone when it's locked without entering the password?

That really doesn't answer the question. I still want the phone to automatically lock, however, I don't want to unlock the phone to answer it. I'll try to reword the question in another post

Basically, I want to keep my info private should I lose the phone - therefore, I lock it. However, to answer a call I need to turn the phone on, unlock it, and answer the call - all before my voicemail grabs it or the caller hangs up. Is there a way to answer the phone in lock mode?

I have the same problem... we need to be able to answer the phone when it is locked.
