Windows Media Player and SD insertion - Treo Forum

I just got a new 700wx for work, and my company included tomtom navigator 6 in the deal. I have a problem that I think is related to the SD card and how Windows Media Player behaves. I am new here and have done some searching in the forums, but have not found any answers.

My problem is that if I leave the SD card in the reader, the 1 gig card with the maps on it, everey now and then Windows Media player starts and asks me if I want to search the card for new media files.

Is there any way to turn this off? I can't seem to find any sort of autostart or autoinsertion settings anywhere.

yeah this is annoying
it happens whenever Windows Media player is running in the background
little trick
hold down the OK button on your keypad and it should open up the currently running programs
just stop Windows Media Player.
thats the only way i have been able to stop it
